Dominoes

Domino (also spelled dominoes or dominos) is a game of chance played with a set of tiles. Each tile has a line of pips or dots arranged in a square on one face and is blank on the other. The tiles are normally twice as long as they are wide, which facilitates stacking them on each other and re-arranging them. There are many different games that can be played with a domino set. The most popular of these games involve laying down a sequence of tiles, with each player taking turns adding to the layout. The first player to complete a domino pattern scores points. The value of a single domino is determined by its suit. A domino that has a six-pip end belongs to the suit of sixes, while a domino with a blank or three-pip end belongs to the suit for threes. A domino can be placed on a tile that already has a number or on a blank tile, in which case it is added to the count of the existing numbers.
